Miss Stars and Stripes IV : The Mystery Boat
The following photograph was published (republished?) in Thunderboat
(the newsletter of Unlimiteds Detroit) in the January-February 1994 issue.
The photo had the caption, "Miss
Stars & Stripes IV"; 300 mph or bust - Jack Botsford 11-25-74
Above the name of the boat is "Hydroplane owned and built by Les
Staudacher". If anyone has any information about the construction, testing, performance or
current whereabouts of this boat please let
me know.
