Slo-mo IV, June 26, 1999

Dsc326_thumb.jpg (7140 bytes) "Here's a picture I took this morning of the Slo-Mo-Shun IV as it was being lifted off its trailer prior to re-creating its June 26 1950 mile record run on Lake Washington off of Sand Point -- about a mile and a half from where we live. Ken Muscatel, and Ron Jones, ("riding mechanic"), had the boat up to what looked like maybe 150 mph on the flat waters of Lake Washington.

"It was a lovely sight. First time I have ever seen the IV run. She looked like she had plenty of speed left in her."

Dsc333_thumb.jpg (7591 bytes) "Here's a shot of the boat after it had returned to the dock."
Dsc323_thumb.jpg (6462 bytes) "The boat on its trailer and driver Ken Muscatel, (who flew in last night from the race in Evansville to drive the Slo-Mo this morning)."
