|
PITTSBURGH -- Miss Pepsi, driven by Chuck Thompson of Detroit, won the 45-mile Steel Cup race before an estimated 250,000 fans.
Miss Pepsi was virtually unopposed in winning the event for the second year. The chief rival was Such Crust, piloted by Danny Foster of Detroit, which was forced out with motor trouble after the first heat.
