John Francis My Sweetie U-17 [1954-55]

"The third in a line of Horace Dodge's "Sweetie" boats, John Francis was a step hydroplane 32 feet long, powered by an Allison engine. She was built in 1954 by Les Staudacher and raced for the Detroit Yacht Club. She is now on the bottom of the Detroit River."
