Lake Tahoe, Calif., August 14 [1949] (AP)—Stanley Dollar's Skip-A-Long, winner of the Harmsworth Trophy at Detroit Aug. 1, sank today in Lake Tahoe. The speed boat had finished two laps of a race when it began shipping water.
