Seattle — (AP) — The champ and her new sister are still the only speedboats to qualify for Saturday’s Gold Cup race.

Slo-Mo-Shun IV, the defending champion, and Slo-Mo-Shun V, recently completed, are the two qualifiers.

Of the other nine entries, one of them — the Gale II of Detroit — was drying out today from a ducking she took Wednesday at 80 miles an hour.
