It was an uncontested win for Bill Sterett and Miss Budweiser Aug. 3 in the Seafair Centennial unlimited hydroplane race at Seattle. Sterett won both preliminary heats and marked up a 105.468 mph average speed in the final heat for 1200 total points. Second place went to Jim McCormick and Atlas Van Lines, Bill Muncey and Miss U.S. placed third.
