Georgie Simon of Lothrop will be going to Seattle this weekend to race his new boat, the Miss United States [Miss U.S. I (1)]. Built by Dan Arena, the boat will compete for the Gold Cup in its first race with Mr. Simon driving.

Accompanying the owner on the trip will be about 20 people, among them his wife, Shirley; two brothers, Mitchell and Joseph Simon; his brother-in-law, Fred Wissman; and the crew.
